Meghalaya Assembly Speaker meets Delhi counterpart

Shillong, Aug 28: Ram Niwas Goel, Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly paid a visit to Thomas A. Sangma at his office, on Tuesday. 

Goel was accompanied by his wife. Deputy Speaker Timothy D Shira and Cabinet Minister A L Hek were also present to welcome the speaker.

Goel, who is serving as the 7th and current Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, has held the position twice, in 2015 and 2020.
