City school celebrates 101st Foundation Day

Shillong, Sept 13: Governor CH Vijayashankar, on Friday, emphasised the importance of continuing the tradition of academic excellence while adapting to modern educational needs. 

The governor was speaking during the 101st Foundation Day celebrations of the Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School, where he was the chief guest. 

Vijayashankar commended the school for its unwavering dedication to holistic education and its role in shaping the future of Meghalaya  and also encouraged students to embody the values instilled by the institution, aiming for both personal success and contributing positively to the society.

He also congratulated the school administration, faculty, and students on reaching this significant milestone and expressed his best wishes for the school’s continued success in the coming years.
