Waste to Art competition held 

Shillong, Sept 27: NEIGRIHMS successfully organised a “Waste to Art” competition on Wednesday. The event highlighted one of the pillars “Swachhata Mein Jan Bhaagidari” of the ongoing Swachhta Hi Seva 2024 campaign.

NEIGRIHMS staff and their family members showcased their talent through various innovative models made from various hospitals and general waste from home. 

The hospital  also collaborated with IHM Shillong to make a wider impact on spreading the message of waste recycling. 

Around 35 volunteers from IHM Shillong also took part in the competition.

A total of 20 models were displayed by the participants. Heno P & group, Daphishisha Khonglah & group and Twinklestar Nongbri & group from IHM Shillong received 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.
