Shillong, Oct 6: Condolences have poured in from politicians, bureaucrats and others for the demise of former legislator Noverfield R Marak, who represented North Tura constituency during 2013-17.
In his message, Assembly Speaker Thomas Amphang Sangma said, “Noverfield Marak will be remembered for his hard work and dedication to serve the people.”
Commissioner & secretary Dr Andrew Simons expressed grief and sorrow on behalf of the Assembly Secretariat.
While offering condolences to the family members, they wished for the soul to rest in eternal peace.
