27 percent polling reported in first hours of voting in Gambegre

Tura, Nov 13: A high turnout in the early hours of polling for Gambegre byelection has put the voting percentage at 27 percent during the first three hours, informed West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Jagdish Chelani.

Voting is taking place across 51 polling stations in this West Garo Hills asembly constituency.

There were a few minor glitches with the Electronic Voting Machines, it was reported.

The Vvpat of the EVM in 39-Rongkon Songital LP School was replaced during start of actual poll, while at 51-Dilniduara polling station the whole set of EVM was replaced at the start of actual poll, informed DC Chelani.
