Guwahati, Feb 28: University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM), Chancellor Mahbubul Haque, who was arrested by Sribhumi Police on February 21, was brought to Dispur Police Station for further investigation. Senior police officers including Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), crime reached the station to monitor the inquiry process.
Apart from this, when Mahbubul Hoque was brought to Dispur Police Station, many students including USTM teachers came there and wanted to meet Cencellor Mahbubul Hoque, but the police did not allow them to meet.
After interrogation at Dispur police station, the police took Mahbubul Hoque to his Guwahati house to search.
