Wellness centre opens in Resubelpara

Resubelpara, Mar 19: Mendipathar MLA Marthon J Sangma inaugurated the Bonggare Olbaknang Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre (AAM) at Bonggare Olbaknang under Manikganj PHC, Resubelpara on Tuesday while also assuring that basic medical care and facilities would be available at their doorstep.

Dedicating the new centre to the local people, the MLA said the launch of Health and Wellness centres across the state was an initiative of the government to bring health care services closer to the people.

As healthcare services being one of the prime focus of the government policies, the government is committed to bring about upgraded medical infrastructures, improved health services for the welfare of the people, added Sangma.

Sangma also apprised the gathering of the government’s strive to boost the educational sector by uplifting government LP Schools, UP Schools and SSAs in the region.

Dr NR Marak, SD&MO in his speech highlighted the facilities of the Health and Wellness centre. Ante Natal Care for expecting mothers, screening of Non Communicable Disease (NCD) and other services under OPD section are some of the services being provided at the centre.
