Shillong, Apr 7: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday celebrated its 46th Foundation Day across Meghalaya where party members unfurled the party flag and paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani and Murlimanohar.
State BJP president Rikman G Momin unfurled the party flag with the state general secretary Wankitbok Pohshna at the head office at Bivar Road.
The state unit of the party has designed a weeklong program that include cleaning drives, blood donation camps and other activities which are slated to culminate on April 14, the birth anniversary of B R Ambedkar.
