DISHA meeting held at Baghmara

Baghmara, April 22: The District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) was held today at the New Circuit House Conference Hall in Baghmara, South Garo Hills.

Chaired by Tura MP Saleng A. Sangma, various centrally sponsored schemes aimed at uplifting the region were taken up during the meet with officials.

The DISHA meeting focused on evaluating the implementation and operational status of key schemes managed by departments such as DRDA, Health, Education, Water Resources, Agri-Horticulture, MePDCL, DCIC, ICDS, MSRLS, PWD Roads & NH, and PHE, among others. Discussions centered on fund allocation, operational challenges, and shortcomings, with an emphasis on ensuring seamless delivery of benefits to the intended beneficiaries.
