NPP condemns Pahalgam massacre

Shillong, Apr 27: The National People’s Party (NPP) has unanimously resolved to strongly condemn the recent heinous attack on innocent civilians by terrorists at Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir.

The NPP adopted the resolution and observed a two-minute silence in remembrance of the departed souls at the party’s first national committee meeting for 2025-28 term.

“The party strongly condemned this heinous act of terror against innocent civilians that took place in Pahalgam recently,” NPP national working president James K Sangma said in a statement issued on Saturday.

“The party also appeals and prays for the return of peace and normalcy,” he added.
