PMIC opens admission for MBBS 2025-26 session

Shillong, July 30: The PA Sangma International Medical College & Hospital (PIMC) under the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) has opened admissions for its MBBS programme for 2025-26 session.

The PIMC is now accepting online applications as per the notification by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), stated a press release.

Candidates interested to pursue MBBS may log into the official website in meghealth.gov.in before 12 noon on July 31. The first round of counselling will be held from August 1 to 7, added the release.

USTM chancellor Mahbubul Hoque, in his message to students, said, “Our journey in healthcare began with the University Hospital of Ayurveda & Naturopathy, a world-class initiative. Now, with PIMC, we’re taking a bold step into mainstream medical education, committed to nurturing future healthcare leaders. We envision PIMC as a global destination for excellence in medicine and education.”

Launched in October 2024, PIMC is a constituent college of USTM and is fast emerging as a hub for cutting-edge medical education and holistic patient care, the press release said.
