Constituency visit: Conrad interacts with residents at Sampalgre

Tura, Aug 30: Chief minister Conrad K Sangma on Saturday held a locality meeting at Don Bosco College Higher Secondary Section Hall, Tura, for Sampalgre locality in his South Tura constituency.

In the meeting themed ‘Krimko Ja’ku De’na’, Sangma said he visited the locality not as the chief minister but as MLA of the constituency to understand challenges faced by the people.

“We have the CM Connect programme but today I am here and it can be rightly said that this is MLA Connect programme,” he said before interacting with representatives from various localities under South Tura constituency.

Sangma assured the gathering that the issues and problems raised have been noted and would be addressed.

Representatives and residents from Rengmal Gittim, Akimdora, Bolsal A’chik, Srop Gittim, Ranggira, Leper Colony, Kongbe A’kong, Lower Wadanang, Kasinang and Niram A’ding Danak Kongbe participated in the meeting.
