Campaign on cleanliness, decluttering of office held in Shillong

Shillong, Oct 9: A Special Campaign 5.0 on effective disposal of public grievances, references from Members of Parliament, Parliament assurances, cleanliness drive in the workplace and around the premise, disposal of scrap and weeding out of files is currently being held by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.

The campaign started with a preparatory phase from September 15-30 to identify targets to be taken up for cleaning during the implementation phase which started from October 2 to 31.

During the campaign held at NSO (FOD) Regional office Shillong, special emphasis was given to achieve space management and enhancement of workplace experience in offices along with beautification of offices and cleanliness.

As part of the campaign, a cleaning drive around Ward’s Lake Area was also organised on October 9, which was assigned to RO Shillong.

As part of the campaign a cleaning drive at the office and office premises was also conducted at

NSO office where attention was laid on weeding of file, disposal of waste and scrapped items.

The programme was actively participated by Officers and staffs of the office of NSO

(FOD) RO Shillong with a motto to keep office surrounding and Shillong area a clean

place.
