Walkathon marks launch of BSF’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign

Shillong, Aug 15: The Border Security Force  Meghalaya Frontier has launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ in a spirited effort to celebrate and promote patriotism.

Field formations under the BSF Meghalaya Frontier organised walkathons and Tiranga rallies in and around campus areas and along the border, engaging civilians, BSF personnel, and the local population to inspire everyone to hoist or display the national flag at their homes, government buildings, and prominent places such as schools and colleges, ensuring the success of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The events also aimed to instill a deep sense of patriotism among school children and the local community.

In addition to the walkathons, the campaign reached out to headmen, ex-BSF personnel, and villagers in respective areas, motivating them to hoist the national flag at their homes, community centers, and other public places.
