Shillong, Sept 8: The first Dr D D Lapang Memorial Lecture will be organised on September 10 at the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM).
The lecture is being organised by the Dr DD Lapang Foundation in collaboration with USTM.
The programme will be held at the Central Auditorium, USTM from 1 PM onwards on Thursday.
Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem, USTM Chancellor Mahbubul Hoque, Vice Chancellor Prof G D Sharma and Pro Vice Chancellor Padma Dr Sarbeswar Sahariah will be among the dignitaries addressing the gathering.
The event will also include the prize distribution ceremony of the essay competition held as part of the memorial programme, instituted in memory of former Chief Minister Dr DD Lapang.
