Amlarem ASHAs, facilitators receive mobile tablets

Jowai, Aug 19: To achieve the Aspirational Block key performance indicators and enable ASHAs to complete the community-based assessment checklist entry for the village, mobile tablets were distributed to ASHAs and ASHA facilitators under Amlarem Civil Subdivision on Monday in West Jaintia Hills district.

Speaking during the Aspiration Block programme, local MLA Lahkmen Rymbui stressed the critical need for regular health checkups to deter potential life-threatening diseases and urged the community to be more proactive in seeking healthcare.

He also emphasized that the government’s ongoing efforts to provide resources like these tablets are part of a large strategy to enhance healthcare services and improve digital access to healthcare workers.
