Ampati celebrates Swachhata Diwas

Ampati, Oct 2: A fortnight long Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign concluded on Wednesday with the observation of Swachhata Diwas at a modest gathering at Ampati Multi facility Center on Gandhi Jayanti.

 The weeklong campaign was marked by essay competitions and cleaning drives organized across the district.

The observation of Swachhata Divas was attended by Executive Engineer, PHE and SBM (G) Member Secretary, Raju P Marak as the Chief Guest. During his address to the gathering he emphasized on Swabhav Swachhata and Sanskar Swachhata.

Awards were also handed over for the cleanest villages of the district along with certificates and prizes to the winners of the essay competitions held across the district as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign.
