AR veterans hold maiden conclave

Shillong, Apr 11: A first-of-its-kind conclave of Assam Rifles Ex-Servicemen Association (ARESA) was held in Shillong on Friday.

Addressing the occasion, Assam Rifles director general Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera paid tributes to the contributions of ex-servicemen and highlighted the pivotal role played by Assam Rifles veterans in upholding the nation’s integrity and security.

He emphasized the need for continued engagement and welfare initiatives for the retired fraternity.

Speaking at the event, ARESA director said, “This conclave is a testament to our collective spirit and dedication. It’s heartening to see our veterans being recognized and supported in such a meaningful way.”
