Awareness Program on Artificial Intelligence Held at Borang Resort, Nogorpara, SWGH

Ampati, Nov 28: An Awareness Program on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was successfully conducted at Borang Resort, Chimite, Nogorpara, under the Zikzak C&RD Block, South West Garo Hills on Wednesday.

The event aimed to empower youth with knowledge about the smooth integration of AI into academic pursuits, fostering a balance between social and ethical responsibilities, and exploring AI’s applications across various sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and ecology.

Rev. Paramsingh M. Sangma, Pastor of Nogorpara Baptist Church, served as the resource person, providing valuable insights into how AI can be a transformative tool for the younger generation. The program was moderated by Mawsell D. Marak, Assistant Pastor of Rochonpara Baptist Church.

Organized by the Youth Ministry of Rochonpara Baptist Church, the event saw enthusiastic participation from 30 youths, aged 15 to 30, from the Singimari area. Discussions and interactive sessions highlighted the potential of AI in improving academic practices and contributing to sustainable development.

The initiative was a step forward in educating young minds about the benefits and responsibilities associated with AI, while encouraging them to use this technology effectively and ethically.
