BSF ADG reviews issues of border management

Shillong, Oct 22: Additional director general of BSF’s Eastern Command Ravi Gandhi has reviewed the current security scenario and discussed various operational and administrative aspects of border management during his two-day visit to BSF Frontier Meghalaya.

During his first day of visit on Sunday, the ADG interacted with villagers from border areas of the South West Garo Hills at BOP Bahadur of 50 Bn BSF.

At Frontier Headquarters of BSF Meghalaya in Shillong, he interacted with officers during a presentation given by IG Harbax Singh Dhillon on operational preparedness of Meghalaya Frontier.

He paid a visit to chief secretary Donald Phillips Wahlang and state police chief Idashisha Nongrang on Monday.
