CM Conrad praises Kitkupar Nongsiej for reaching WCOPA top 5

Shillong, July 23: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday congratulated Kitkupar Nongsiej for securing a place among the Top 5 finalists at the World Championship of Performing Arts held in Las Vegas, USA.

In a post on X, the chief minister described the achievement as inspiring and said it was a proud moment for the state to see a young talent from Meghalaya perform on such a prestigious international stage.

“It is truly inspiring to see a young talent from Meghalaya shine on such a prestigious international stage. Happy to have supported him in his journey to the championship, and I wish him continued success ahead,” Sangma wrote.

He added that he hoped Nongsiej’s music would continue to bring people together and make Meghalaya proud across the world.
