Decomposed body of unidentified man recovered in North Garo Hills

Tura, Jan 18: North Garo Hills police have recovered the corpse of a man in a high state of decomposition from the village of Dalmang, under Bajengdoba police station, on the 17th of January.

The circumstances leading to his death remain unclear but the body has been kept at Mendipathar Primary Health Centre and police are urging anyone having information on the identity of the deceased to come forward and contact authorities.

The deceased is believed to be a non-tribal in the age group of 50 years with a moustache, wore a black t-shirt and pants, and also a sweater and jacket.
