Efforts to find missing NF Railway officer continues on the third day

Guwahati, Nov 26: Efforts to find Shri SK Choudhury, Chief Principal Security Officer of NF Railway, who got carried away by the strong river current while visiting Parshuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday (24.11.2024) continues today on the third day.

Search and rescue operations at Parsuramkund and downstream locations are being carried out by NDRF, ITBP, SDRF, Indian Army, and Local Police teams.

12 boats have been deployed, and patrol teams are carrying out search at all possible locations, including 3 places where the river widens.

Senior officers of N.F.Railway, including DRM Tinsukia, are at the location and coordinate with state and district authorities to deploy all possible means. GM/NF Railway is in continuous touch with the top officials of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam State governments.
