Tura, july 18: In a chilling murder, a young girl was hacked to death by a youth in broad daylight at Samgong locality of Williamnagar on Friday.
The accused has been identified as James R Sangma of Dawagre locality of Williamanagar. The victim is a teenager studying in a school in the town.
He is currently on the run and police have announced a reward and identity protection for anyone from the public who informs the whereabouts of the accused.
