Guv to hold bi-monthly reviews on TB elimination progress

Shillong, July 31: Meghalaya Governor CH Vijayashankar has announced a bi-monthly review meetings with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) team to monitor and assess progress of the state team.

State Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Ramakrishna Chitturi, presented a detailed report on the progress of NTEP in Meghalaya.

Chairing the review meeting at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday to address challenges, and accelerate efforts towards a TB-free Meghalaya, the Governor assured all necessary support from Raj Bhavan and committed to providing nutritional kits for 150 TB patients for six months.
