Hello Meghalaya achieves key milestones in 1 year

Shillong, July 12:Shillong, July 12: Hello Meghalaya, the OTT platform launched a year ago, to promote and celebrate the vibrant culture, stories, and talent of Meghalaya, has become a transformative platform for local artistes, filmmakers, and content creators.

Since its launch on July 11 last year, Hello Meghalaya has garnered over 3.8 lakh downloads and nearly 2 lakh registrations.

Content views on the platform has reached an impressive 10 million and an average watch time of 4 hours and 30 minutes per user.

These are considered milestones in fostering a thriving creative economy in the state.

The platform has also acted as a strong medium of upskilling filmmaking talents.

Popular films such as “Ka Chithi”, “Pynngop”, “Ka-Daw”, “9-Lad”, “Jingim”, and “Ahor” have each surpassed one million views, showcasing the platform’s ability to captivate audiences with realtime Meghalayan narratives.

The platform has emerged as a dedicated space for local content creators, offering a unique platform to showcase films, short films, music videos, vlogs, documentaries, and live content in regional languages such as Khasi, Garo, and Pnar.
