Hid Foundation Shillong congratulates MTET 2026 qualifiers, hails Govt’s education efforts

Shillong, Sept 4: Hid Foundation has welcomed the MTET 2026 results with over 84 per cent of this year’s candidates have cleared the examination, while also appreciating the government’s effort in improving education across the state.

In a press release by the foundation, it said congratulated both the in-service teachers and aspiring teachers, calling it a “very positive and encouraging outcome for the teaching community of Meghalaya.”

“This historic result reflects the hard work and dedication of the candidates and the concerted efforts of the State Government of Meghalaya in strengthening the education sector,” the foundation said.

Hid Foundation Shillong, sincerely appreciates the Directorate of Educational Research and Training (DERT) and the Education Department, Government of Meghalaya for their transparency, smooth conduct of the examination and for timely announcement of the results. This shows the Government’s commitment towards quality education, the release said.

The foundation wishes all the qualified teachers a bright and successful future in shaping the future of our children and youngsters, it added.
