JSU demands result for nurse recruitment with marks

Shillong, Sept 29: The Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) on Saturday demanded redeclaration of results for the Staff Nurse and ANM examination. The student body has urged the department to declare marks of the candidates against their roll numbers.

This came a day after the results were declared by the department on the website of www.meghealth.gov.in on September 27.

Seeking Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh’s intervention on the matter, the JSU in a letter said that the current method of announcing only the roll numbers of qualified candidates without their obtained marks raises issues of transparency and fairness.

The absence of individual scores does not provide justice or clarity to the applicants who have worked diligently to prepare for this examination, JSU said.
