Motorsport spectacle in thrills audience at Laitkor

Shillong, Apr 19: High-energy motorsport captivated the audience during ‘Indian Racing Festival – a carnival of Total Control’ held at DGAR Cantonment, Laitkor, Shillong on Saturday.

Energy of the packed house and the scenic locale added a unique flavour to the motorsport spectacle organised by JK Tyre, in collaboration with Meghalaya Motorsport Society and Assam Rifles (Laitkor).

The crowd witnessed electrifying drifting demonstrations in high-performance Lexus and BMW cars, adrenaline-pumping stunts on Superbikes, and standout performances by young karting prodigies on their Rotax Karts, demonstrating precision, speed, and control.

The event was attended by Assam Rifles director general Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera and East Khasi Hills deputy commissioner Rosetta Mary Kurbah, and JK Tyre Motorsport’s head of operations Hari Singh among others.

The tour next phase of the event will be held at Guwahati on 20 April, before concluding in Gangtok on April 22.
