NE Cricket Development Council award Meghalaya for playing in Elite Group of BCCI

Shillong, April 8: The North East Cricket Development Council held its 4th Achiever’s Nite at Chintan Hall, Gangtok on 6th April.

NECDC which is a coordinating body of 6 NE states honoured top performers in both Men’s and Women’s category in all formats during the recently concluded BCCI domestic season.

Prem Singh Tamang, Chief Minister of Sikkim was the Chief Guest while Speaker of Sikkim Legislative Assembly as Guest of Honour and cabinet ministers as Special guests.

Meghalaya CA was awarded a special prize in recognition of playing in the Elite Group of BCCI during this season besides other individual awards.

Besides CM Sikkim among others present in the function included MKJ Mazumdar Apex Council Member BCCI, Naba Bhattacharjee President MCA and Co-Convenor NECDC and T. Subba President Sikkim CA.

The President and Hony. Secretary of all six state associations were Felicitated by the Chief Guest and Meghalaya CA also felicitated the Chief Minister with traditional Khasi and Garo attire and gifts.
