Over 100 paintings created at IIM Shillong 

Shillong, Nov 18: Over 100 paintings were created during a 10-day Artist Residency Programme that brought together 16 accomplished artists from institutions across the country at IIM Shillong.

The programme organised by Zeitgeist, IIM Shillong’s literary, quizzing and activities club, was onaugurated by Shishir Kumar Bajoria, chairman BOG, on 6 November and concluded on 15 November.

The programme with the theme Misty Musings: The Shifting Landscape aspired to bridge disciplinary gaps, fostering innovative ideas and holistic learning to address global business challenges, stated a press release.

Meanwhile, an Open Studio was inaugurated at IIM Shillong on the concluding day of the artist residency programme in presence of Atul Chandrakant Kulkarni, Member BOG; Prof Abhishek Vashisht, Chair of Student Affairs; Prof Rohit Dwivedi, and Samindranath Majumdar, the program’s curator.
