Shillong, Apr 5: Over 13,000 Schedule Tribe (ST) students have received their post matric scholarships for 2023-24 academic session.
Of the total 27,327 beneficiaries, payment for 13,608 beneficiaries were deposited in their bank accounts on 21 March 2025, stated an official release issued by the director of Higher & Technical Education on Friday.
The remaining 13,719 beneficiaries, who have not yet received their scholarships, have been asked through SMS to check their aadhaar linking status with the respective banks.
The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) portal provides 15 days to the beneficiaries to comply with the aadhaar seeding/linking status.
