Over Rs 4 lakh robbed from Ri Bhoi petrol pump 

Nongpoh, Aug 25: Four miscreants robbed a petrol pump at Umran Dairy in Niangbyrnai village in Ri Bhoi district, getting away with over Rs 4 lakh on Sunday morning.

The robbers forcibly restrained the manager of the petrol pump and several employees just as he was preparing to open the station. The manager sustained injuries, including a deep cut to his hand. 

The miscreants tied their hands and feet before proceeding to loot the establishment. 

According to the manager, the criminals fled off with petrol sales of Rs 4,24,614 from August 23 to 24. 

Ri Bhoi police have registered a case and are currently searching for any potential leads from CCTV footage.
