His three-day score was two under par and was four behind the leader, Max Kennedy (68), who finished with a double bogey.

The 26-year-old Talwar started his round on the first tee and made par for the first four holes before dropping a shot on the fifth.

He immediately picked up a shot on the sixth. On the back nine he started with a bogey and followed it up with a birdie. On the 14th hole he would pick up a shot but a bogey on the 16th resulted in Talwar having to settle for an even par round.

First day leader Kennedy was able to pull himself together after a disastrous second day as he shot a round of 2-under 68 on the third day to find himself tied for the lead with James Morrison.

Kennedy, after 60 on the first day, slipped to 76 on the second. In the third round, he made four birdies, one eagle, two bogeys and one double bogey.
