Smart City projects progressing at a good pace, says Dhar

Shillong, Apr 15: The state is making significant progress in the implementation of the various Smart city projects, said Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Urban Affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar on Monday.

Dhar informed reporters that 98 per cent of the construction work for Polo shopping mall has been completed, adding that construction work of parking lots is also making strides.

“Hopefully if not by 2025 but by mid 2026 it should be completed,” Dhar said.

“We are waiting for the next phase 2.0 smart city projects,”he added.

Dhar also informed that the government is also tracking development of the projects and they are progressing well.
