St Anthony’s teacher among top 2% scientists

Shillong, Dec 7: Shillong based academician Dr Sanku Dey, a faculty member in the department of Statistics of St Anthony’s College, has been recognised as one among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, according to a list released by Stanford University, USA.

Dr Dey has 305 research publications and garnered 5,027 citations from scholars around the world, stated a press release.

Among the 223,153 scientists featuring in the list, Dr Dey has achieved the global rank of 57,410.

“We commend Dr Dey for his extraordinary achievements and for bringing global recognition to the college. This is indeed a proud moment for the Anthonian community and a powerful reminder of the transformative power of research and education,” the college said in a statement.
