State bags Udyog Samagam’s Top Performer award in Business Entry Reform

Shillong, Nov 11: Meghalaya has been honored as a top performer in Business Entry Reform at the Conference of Industries & Commerce Ministers- Udyog Samagam 2025 held in New Delhi.

The award acknowledges Meghalaya’s proactive approach towards regulatory reforms, digital governance integration, and facilitation of business registrations, which has significantly reduced compliance burdens and improved the state’s business climate.

Meghalaya’s dedicated implementation of reforms under the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) has paved the way for increased investment, entrepreneurship, and economic growth across the region.

The Udyog Samagam event, attended by key industry leaders and government ministers across India, serves as a platform to recognize state-level achievements in business reforms.
