Shillong, Oct 3: A cultural festival ‘Ki Dienjat ka Dympep’ under the theme of Swachh Utsav was organised at Dympep village in East Khasi Hills district.
Live performance by legendary artiste Lou Majaw, clay art space, indigenous games, culinary and sculptor workshops, and performances by Dympep LP/UP School students were highlights of the occasion.
‘Seasoned by the Rains – Food Experience’ further showcased local produce and sustainable food practices.
Sohra MLA Gavin Mylliem and columnist-cum-activist Patricia Mukhim attended the function organised by NEEPCO in collaboration with Pynche.
