Taami Komji 3.0 girls’ football league ends with spirited finale in Aalo

Aalo, Sept 20: The Aalo Girls’ Football League 2025, locally known as Taami Komji 3.0, concluded on Saturday after a five-day run that highlighted talent, discipline, and teamwork among young players.

Organised by the Spear Corps Local Military Authority, the tournament aimed to promote girls’ participation in football, provide pathways for training and competition, and instill values of sportsmanship and leadership.

The event also served as a platform for military–civil cooperation, drawing support from the armed forces, civil administration, schools, colleges, coaches, and community volunteers. Organisers said the league reinforced the role of sport in building confidence, health, and social harmony.

At the closing ceremony, teams and individual performers were felicitated for excellence and exemplary conduct. The organisers expressed gratitude to participants and supporters, pledging to sustain momentum with initiatives such as coaching clinics, fitness awareness, and leadership-building opportunities for girls.

The Spear Corps Local Military Authority thanked the local administration and community stakeholders for their cooperation and urged young athletes to continue training and striving for higher goals.
