Shillong, Apr 9: BSF Meghalaya Frontier successfully apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals in East Jaintia Hills on Monday.
Troops responded to a suspicious movement near the border and intercepted the individuals attempting to infiltrate into Indian territory.
Preliminary questioning revealed that the apprehended Bangladeshi nationals are residents of the Sylhet district.
They were handed over to the Police post Umkiang, East Jaintia Hills for further legal proceedings.
