Shillong, Aug 20: Three Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended along the Jaintia Hills district international border, on Monday.
The operation, which was conducted by BSF, also led to the arrest of three Indian facilitators.
They have been handed over to the police station concerned, for further legal action.
Amidst the ongoing unrest and deteriorating law and order situation in Bangladesh, the BSF Meghalaya has heightened surveillance and intensified border domination along the Indo-Bangla border to prevent illegal crossings and ensure national security.
