Traffic regulations in Williamnagar 

Williamnagar, Sep 7:  To ease the flow of traffic in Williamnagar town, East Garo Hills Superintendent of Police, Stephen A Rynjah, has announced a slew of measures aimed at effective traffic arrangement in the interest of public safety.

According to the new traffic arrangement, parking of vehicles will not be allowed along the stretch of road from Rongrenggre Govt. Higher Secondary School junction to the Soil and Water Conservation office junction. The parking of auto-rickshaws will be allowed in the designated auto-rickshaw stand in front of the Williamnagar Municipal Board office and the entry, exit and movement of trucks, dumpers, heavy goods carriage to and from Williamnagar town beyond Rongrenggre tri-junction  of NH-44E will now be restricted from 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m everyday.
