Two killed in road accident

Boko, Feb15: In a tragic road accident on NH17 at Lampara under Boko Police Station on Saturday evening killed two people. According to the OC Boko PS Rajib Nath A bike Yamaha MT-15 (AS 01 EE 8837) and a passenger bus (AS 01 RC 8856) were on their way to Lakhipur in Goalpara District. However, the passenger bus hit the bike from behind and tried to escape. Boko Police immediately rushed to the incident site and seized the bus at Agchiya village, however the bus driver absconded immediately. OC Rajib Nath further said that duo worked as carpenters in Guwahati and today they were on their way to home when the incident occurred. Police will send both dead bodies to GMCH for post-mortem report on Tomorrow.
