Prize distribution ceremony for the winners of art competition held
Shillong, Sept 6: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Meghalaya, recently celebrated its Sthapana Diwas (Foundation Day) and Krishna Janmashtami with a special programme at Rajasthan Vishram Bhawan, Luckier Road, Garikhana, Shillong.
The event featured prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the art competition. The programme also featured devotional bhajans, addresses by invited guests, and the felicitation of the winners.
Prabhat Kanti Paul, Pravin Shewale, and in-charge of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Swami Purnabratananda attended the event.
Students, parents, devotees, and members of the public attended the celebrations in all its grandeur. The organisers said the event aims to commemorate the organisation’s foundation while celebrating Krishna Janmashtami in a spirit of devotion, unity, and community participation.
