Shillong, Oct 24: Two drug peddlers, including a woman – both from Silchar, Assam – were arrested along with suspected heroin at Sohryngkham in East Khasi Hills district on Friday.
Four soap boxes filled with suspected heroin weighing 54.13 gram were seized from the possession of the peddlers identified as Smti Suma (42) and Sultan Mahammad Mazumder (35).
They were apprehended during a naka set up by ANTF personnel at Sohryngkham.
The vehicle (AS 11 EC 3733) they were travelling in was also seized.
