Shillong, Sept 6: ANTF personnel arrested a 41-year-old woman and seized heroin worth Rs 1 crore from her in Shillong on Friday night.
The woman, Nengneilhing Khongsai, was arrested by Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) from a rented house at Nongrah Nongpdeng and 18 soap boxes filled with suspected heroin were recovered from her room.
The seized contraband weighing 219 grams is estimated to be worth Rs 1 crore, police said.
