2 from Mendipathar dies in mishap in AssamBoko, Dec 15

Boko,Dec 15: Two persons from Mendipathar died on the spot as a truck ran over them at Paneri under Boko police station in Assam on Sunday evening.

The victims – Therang Sangma and Ishak Sangma, both uncle and nephew – were working in an industry under Chhaygaon Industrial Growth Centre.
They were on their way back after repairing their bicycles when the truck (WB-59D/1465) hit them.

Police later seized the truck and retrieved the bodies, which will be sent for post-mortem to Gauhati Medical College Hospital on Monday.
