Shillong, July 24: One Jimi Bareh was sentenced 22 years of rigorous imprisonment after a Special POCSO Court in East Jaintia Hills found him guilty of raping of a minor.
The Special Judge (POCSO) B Khriam also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on him in the recent order.
Khliehriat Women police station registered the case in this connection in 2020 and the charge sheet was filed on in November 2021.
