Shillong, Nov 2: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Monday confirmed that three sitting MDCs of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) will formally join the NPP on November 4.
“We will be having three sitting MDCs from the TMC who are joining us on November 4. So we will talk about that on November 4. Let us talk about what is happening today,” Sangma told reporters on Monday.
He, however, denied having any information about TMC MLAs too keen to join the ruling party.
“No such communication has come to me. Let us wait and watch as the situation unfolds,” he added.
