Shillong, Sept 9: Global icon Akon is set to perform at the upcoming Cherry Blossom Festival, which will also feature legendary acts like Boney M and R3HAB.
Akon’s performance on 16 November 2024 is a part of his “Superfan Tour”, which includes one show per country in Asia during November and December, with additional stops in as many as 8 countries.
Last year, the Cherry Blossom Festival featured performances by Ne-Yo and Ronan Keating.
Another significance of this edition on November 15-16 is that it includes Boney M’s farewell tour, featuring founding member Maizie Williams.
